So easy to set up
Once you have connected all your aerial, cables etc, a start up screen will appear for first use, guiding you to the settings area.
You will be prompted to set up your network via LAN (if LAN cable is installed) or via Wi-Fi. If using Wi-Fi you will need your login
and password for your Network, once the network is set up, the unit can finish settings for other features, like language, Date/Time
etc.
To access Playstore, YouTube, Google+ etc you will need a Gmail account. If you already have one from other Android devices, you
can use the same one, no need for a new one. If you do not have a Gmail account you will be prompted to create one. Please note
that many Android features, games, apps etc cannot be accessed from the Playstore without a Gmail account. Once you have creat-
ed/entered your Gmail account details you can browse, download, shop etc.
For the TV Function of this unit go into the TV area, for first use a start screen will have an error, No Channels, you will then be pro-
moted to run a search for channels. Auto search is easiest for installing all channels available in your area. Once finished you can
then access all TV channels.
For the record function on the unit you must plug an External USB hard drive or memory stick (Not supplied) into the USB located
on the rear of the unit. You can record directly from the EPG. You can record a program on 1 channel and watch another program
from the same network ie: Record 7 and watch 72, however you cannot record from 1 network and watch another ie: record 7
and watch 10.
Multimedia playback on this device via USB or Mirco SD Card is done through the Media Player already on the unit, or you can
download additional media players for more file types ie: BS or MX Player. The built in media player plays most common File types
including MPEG, Divx, AVI, MKV, Xvid.
