Problems
Possible causes
The batteries have run out.
The batteries are loaded backward.
The batteries cover or slot cover is not
closed securely.
The camera and AC power adapter are not
connected correctly.
The camera has been left for a long period
with batteries and AC power adapter
removed.
Camera is used in extremely cold
conditions.
The battery terminals are soiled.
Same batteries have been used for a long
period.
The rechargeable batteries (if used) have
become deactivated, or the battery
capacity has diminished due to the
memory effect.
The batteries have run out.
The camera and AC power adapter are not
connected correctly.
Solutions
Load new or fully charged batteries.
Load the batteries in the corrected
direction.
Close the batteries cover or slot cover
securely.
Connect the camera and AC power
adapter correctly.
Load the batteries or connect the AC
power adapter, and wait a short time
before turning the camera on.
Put the batteries in your pocket or another
warm place to heat it and then load it into
the camera just before you take a picture.
Wipe the battery terminals with a clean,
dry cloth.
The batteries can no longer be recharged.
Load a new batteries.
Use the rechargeable battery discharging
function to restore the rechargeable
batteries to full capacity.
Load new or fully charged batteries.
Connect the camera and AC power
adapter correctly.
