Make sure the steam slider is set to dry setting.

Fill the water tank to the MAX indication.

Do not pour vinegar or other descaling agents into the water
tank.
Put the mains plug into an earthed wall socket.

Set the temperature dial to MAX.

Wait for the iron to heat up. Remove the plug from the

socket when the temperature indicator light goes off.
