when service or repair is required. Opening the unit may result in a risk of electric shock or fire, and
will void warranty.
• Make sure cord is located so that it will not be stepped on, tripped over or otherwise subjected to
damage or stress.
• Do not leave the unit unattended while in use.
• This unit is not for use by children and should only be operated by adults.
• Disconnect adapter by pulling the plug rather than the cord when disconnecting the 120V AC charger.
• Vehicles that have on-board computerized systems may be damaged if vehicle battery is boosted.
Before boosting, read the vehicle' s owner' s manual to confirm that external-starting assistance is
suitable.
• This system is designed to be used only on vehicles with a 12 volt DC battery system. Do
not connect to a 6 volt or 24 volt battery system.
• Excessive engine cranking can damage a vehicle' s starter motor. If the engine fails to start after the
recommended number of attempts, discontinue boosting procedures and look for other problems that
may need to be corrected.
WARNING: Do not use this battery booster on a watercraft. It is not qualified for marine
applications.
WARNING: NEVER connect this product to a positive grounded vehicle.
WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, make sure that the 12 volt outlet is free of debris and
the adaptor plug fits tightly in the outlet.
• Read And Understand This Instruction Manual Before Using This Unit.

Congratulations on purchasing your new Lithium-Ion Battery Booster. Read this Instruction Manual and
follow the instructions carefully before using this unit.

Important Notes:

• Battery boosters are designed for use on small to mid-sized vehicle batteries.
• Several factors can affect a battery booster' s ability to boost a vehicle' s battery, including, but not
limited to the size of the battery, the temperature (hot or cold), whether the battery is damaged or
defective, and whether the booster itself is fully charged.
ChARGING/REChARGING
Lithium-ion batteries require routine maintenance to ensure a full charge and long battery life.
All batteries lose energy from self-discharge over time and more rapidly when they are at higher

temperatures. Therefore, batteries need periodic charging to replace energy lost through self-discharge.
When the unit is not in frequent use, manufacturer recommends the battery be recharged at least every
3-6 months.
IMPORTANT: If you attempt to use the unit when the unit' s battery charge level is too low, the unit will
automatically shut down. Immediately recharge the unit with all other functions turned off.
Notes:
This unit is delivered in a partially charged state – you must fully charge it after purchase and before using it for the
first time. Initial AC charge should be for up to 20 hours or until the unit shows as fully charged.
Recharging battery after each use will prolong battery life; frequent heavy discharges between recharges and/or
overcharging will reduce battery life. The battery can be recharged using the supplied 120 Volt AC Charger.
Make sure all other unit functions are turned OFF during recharging, as this can slow the recharging process.

120 Volt AC Charging

1. Press the Power On/Off Button (on the right of control panel) to turn the unit on. A beep will sound,
the LCD backlight will turn on and the LCD screen will display the following:
The bars on the Battery Status Icon represent the charge level of the unit' s internal battery.
2. Insert the barrel connector of the 120 Volt AC Charger into the 120 Volt AC Charging Port on the side
of the unit. Insert the plug end into a (powered) standard North American 120 volt 60Hz outlet. A
beep will sound, the LCD screen will display the following:
The bars on the Battery Status Icon will change from empty to solid (right to left) repeatedly to
indicate the unit is charging.
3. Charge for up to 20 hours or until the unit is fully charged. The unit is fully charged when the
Battery Status Icon shows 4 solid bars.
4. When charging is complete, unplug the 120 Volt AC Charger from the AC outlet, then disconnect the
barrel connector from the 120 Volt AC Charging Port. Press the Power On/Off Button to switch off the
unit. Store the charger in a dry, safe place.
