PRECAUTIONS
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE PROCEEDING
* Please keep this manual in a safe place for future reference.
CAUTION
Always follow the basic precautions listed below to avoid the possibility of physical injury to you or
others, or damage to the instrument or other property. These precautions include, but are not lim-
ited to, the following:
In order to prevent injury as a result of toppling, detachment, and the like, ensure that the mounting bolts
and the clamp bolt are securely tightened.
Take care to avoid hurried loosening of the clamp bolt, the rod being clamped, or other bolts whenever mak-
ing height or angle adjustments. Failure to observe this precaution can lead to fingers being trapped or
squeezed as a result of sudden movement of the mounted instrument.
Disassembly or customization of this product can result in injury and permanent damage and must, there-
fore, be avoided.
Take care to avoid trapping or squeezing your fingers when mounting the MAT1 on a stand or the like.
Bolts other than those provided with the MAT1 should never be used for mounting. If the bolts used are
even slightly too long or too short, they may damage internal components or the instrument may become
detached and fall during a performance.
Take care to avoid trapping or squeezing your fingers when pushing the rod into the MAT1, tightening the
clamp bolt, or adjusting the instrument's position or angle.
Take care to avoid hurried loosening of the wing bolt whenever making height or position adjustments. Fail-
ure to observe this precaution can lead to sudden movement of the DTX-MULTI 12 and injury.
In order to prevent sudden movement of the instrument or injury during performances, ensure that the wing
bolt is securely tightened.
If mounting on a three-legged stand, ensure that the rod points in the same direction as one of the legs. If
this precaution is not observed, the weight of the DTX-MULTI 12 could cause the stand to topple over,
resulting in injury or equipment damage.

■ Mounting the DTX-MULTI 12
Before mounting your DTX-MULTI 12 on the MAT1, please refer to [Fig. 1].
1. Place the DTX-MULTI 12 upside-down on a flat, level surface.
2. Align the MAT1 with the bolt holes on the DTX-MULTI 12's bottom surface.
3. Insert the four mounting bolts B provided with the MAT1 into the four bolt holes, and tighten them
securely using a Phillips-head screwdriver.
■ Mounting on a Stand or Rack
The MAT1 has been designed for mounting on the Yamaha PS940 Percussion Stand and other similar
stands. Before mounting it on such a stand, please refer to [Fig. 2]. As shown, line up the rod with the
MAT1 mounting hole, push the rod fully into place, and then secure it firmly using the clamp bolt
[Fig.1]

Para evitar lesiones como resultado de caídas, desmontajes, etc., asegúrese de que los pernos de montaje
y los tornillos abrazadera están bien apretados.
Procure no aflojar inadvertidamente el tornillo abrazadera, la barra que se está sujetando ni ningún otro
perno al ajustar la altura o el ángulo. Si no tuviera en cuenta esta precaución podría atraparse los dedos
como resultado de un movimiento repentido del instrumento que va a montar.
El desmontaje o la modificación de este producto puede dar como resultado lesiones o daños permanentes
y, por lo tanto, debe evitarse.
Tenga cuidado para no atraparse los dedos al montar el MAT1 en el soporte o al manipularlo en cualquier
otra forma.
Nunca deben utilizarse pernos que no sean los que se suministran con el MAT1. Si los pernos que se
usaran fueran ligeramente más largos o más cortos, podrían dañar los componentes internos o el
instrumento podría separarse y caerse durante una apretado.
Tenga cuidado para no atraparse los dedos al empujar la barra en el MAT1, apretar el tornillo abrazadera o
ajustar la posición o el ángulo del instrumento.
Procure no aflojar inadvertidamente el tornillo de mariposa al ajustar la altura o la posición. Si no se
siguiera esta precaución podría producirse un movimiento imprevisto del DTX-MULTI 12 y causar lesiones.
Para evitar estos movimientos del instrumento o lesiones durante la interpretación, asegúrese de que el
tornillo de mariposa está bien apretada.
Si realiza el montaje en un soporte de tres patas, asegúrese de que la barra señala a la misma dirección
que una de las patas. De no hacerlo así, el peso del DTX-MULTI 12 podría hacer que el soporte se cayera
y causara lesiones al usuario o daños al equipos.

■ Montaje del DTX-MULTI 12
Antes de montar el DTX-MULTI 12 en el MAT1, consulte la [Fig. 1].
1. Déle la vuelta al DTX-MULTI 12 y colóquelo en una superfice llana y nivelada.
2. Alinee el MAT1 con los orificios de los pernos de la parte inferior del DTX-MULTI 12.
3. Inserte los pernos de montaje B que se suministran con el MAT1 en los cuatro orificios para pernos
y apriételos firmemente con un destornillador de estrella.
■ Montaje en un soporte o bastidor
El MAT1 ha sido diseñado para su montaje en el soporte de percusión Yamaha PS940 u otro soprote
similar. Antes de montarlo en el soporte consulte la [Fig. 2]. Tal como se muestra, alinee la barra con el
orificio de montaje del MAT1, empuje la barra hasta que quede totalmente encajada y asegúrela con el

ATTENZIONE
Attenersi sempre alle precauzioni di base indicate di seguito per evitare il rischio di lesioni fisiche
personali o di altre persone, come anche danni allo strumento o ad altri oggetti. Tali precauzioni
includono, fra le altre, quelle indicate di seguito:
Al fine di evitare lesioni personali dovute a cadute o disassemblaggio dei componenti, assicurarsi che le viti
e il morsetto sia stretti saldamente.
Fare attenzione a non svitare troppo in fretta il morsetto o altre viti quando si effettuano regolazioni per
altezza o inclinazione. In caso contrario, le dita potrebbero venire pizzicate o schiacciate a seguito di un
improvviso movimento dello strumento montato.
Evitare di disassemblare o modificare questo prodotto per evitare lesioni fisiche o danni permanenti.
Fare attenzione a non schiacciarsi le dita quando si monta il modulo MAT1 su un supporto.
Non utilizzare viti diverse da quelle fornite con il modulo MAT1 per eseguire il montaggio. Se si utilizzano viti
troppo lunghe o troppo corte, i componenti interni potrebbero danneggiarsi oppure lo strumento potrebbe
staccarsi e cadere mentre lo si suona.
Fare attenzione a non schiacciarsi le dita quando si inserisce l'asta nel modulo MAT1, si stringe il morsetto
o si regola la posizione o l'inclinazione dello strumento.
Fare attenzione a non svitare troppo in fretta il morsetto o altre viti quando si effettuano regolazioni per
altezza o inclinazione. In caso contrario, l'improvviso movimento dell'unità DTX-MULTI 12 potrebbe causare
lesioni personali.
Per evitare che lo strumento si muova in maniera improvvisa causando lesioni personali mentre lo si suona,
assicurarsi che il morsetto sia stretto saldamente.
Se si monta l'unità su un supporto con tre gambe, assicurarsi che l'asta si trovi nella stessa direzione di una
delle gambe. Se non si osserva tale precauzione, il peso dell'unità DTX-MULTI 12 potrebbe far cadere il
supporto, provocando lesioni o danni alle apparecchiature.

■ Montaggio del modulo DTX-MULTI 12
Prima di montare l'unità DTX-MULTI 12 sul modulo MAT1, vedere [Fig. 1].
1. Posizionare l'unità DTX-MULTI 12 capovolta su una superficie piana.
2. Allineare il modulo MAT1 con i fori per le viti sul fondo dell'unità DTX-MULTI 12.
3. Inserire le quattro viti B fornite con il modulo MAT1 nei quattro fori e stringerle saldamente
con un cacciavite a stella.
■ Montaggio su un supporto o rack
Il modulo MAT1 è stato progettato per essere montato sul supporto per percussioni Yamaha PS940 e altri
supporti simili. Prima di montarlo, vedere [Fig. 2]. Come illustrato nella figura, allineare l'asta con il foro di
montaggio del modulo MAT1, spingerla fino in fondo e fissarla saldamente stringendo il morsetto C .
