3.1 TELEPHONE SETTINGS

3.1.1 PASSWORD

The following procedure describes how to change the password (4 digits). The default setting is 0000.
DESCRIPTION OF THE OPERATION
In stand-by state, press and select
Customization.
Press OK to access the Customization menu.
Press to select Password.
Press OK to access the Password menu.
Enter the old password at the prompt.
Enter the password to be changed (default 0000).
Press OK again to confirm (1).
Enter the new 4-digit password
(1111 in the example).
Press OK to confirm.
Enter the new password again at the prompt.
Enter the new password again.
Press OK again to confirm (1). The confirmation
message will appear for a few instants.
The Password menu will appear again
immediately after.
Press or to select the other menu items
or press twice to quit.
(1) Wrong password entry display message table
Press OK after entering a password longer than 4 digits.
The error will shut the menu down.
Press OK after entering an old password different from the one stored.
The error not shut the menu down.
Press OK after entering the new password.
The error not shut the menu down.

3.1.2 HANDSET VOLUME

The procedure for adjusting the handset volume is described below. The default value is 03. The volume may
be set to 5 levels, where 01 is the minimum value and 05 the maximum value.
DESCRIPTION OF THE OPERATION
In stand-by state, press
Customization.
Press OK to access the Customization menu.
Press to select Handset volume.
Press OK to access the Handset volume menu.
The set value is shown.
Press or to adjust the handset volume
(e.g. level 02 in the example).
Press OK to confirm.
The Handset volume menu is shown.
Press or to select the other menu items
or press twice to quit.

3.1.3 HANDFREE VOLUME

The procedure for adjusting the Handfree volume is described below. The default value is 03. The volume
may be set to 5 levels, where 01 is the minimum value and 05 the maximum value.
