The Mode Dial

Select the desired mode turning the mode dial.
: Programme AE mode (P29)
The aperture value and the shutter
speed are automatically adjusted.
: A/S/M mode (P50–52)
: Aperture-priority AE (P50)
The shutter speed is adjusted
automatically according to the
aperture value you set.
: Shutter-priority AE (P51)
The aperture value is adjusted
automatically according to the shutter
speed you set.
: Manual exposure (P52)
The aperture value and the shutter
speed are manually adjusted.
: Macro mode (P55)
This allows you to get closer to the
subject up to 5 cm (Wide).
: Portrait mode (P56)
This allows you to easily achieve the
depth of focus effect. The subject
stands out in front of an unfocused
background.
