Setup Card Operations
When data is not formatted
If the following error messages appear when the UP button is pressed in step 7, the data is not
formatted.
Data format error messages
Error message
WRITE PROTECT The write protect switch on
the side of the card is set
to ON.
NO CARD A setup card is not
inserted.
ERROR The disk cannot be
formatted.
Condition
– 89 –
Countermeasure
Set the write protect switch
on the side of the card to
OFF.
Insert a card.
The card may be
defective. Replace the
card.
