Remote Start }
Press the button and the menu will be displayed on the display panel.
Spin speed ø
For the spin class, set the spin speed at which the laundry has been spun in the
washing machine. This permits the expected drying time to be indicated more accu-
rately. Speeds of between 600 and 1800 rpm can be selected. Default setting: 1000
rpm
Adjust dryness level ù
If your laundry is too damp after drying, you can fine tune the dryness levels, e.g. Cup-
board Dry, using the drying degree button. The dryness level can be increased in
three stages, from +1 to +3 , by adjusting the drying degree.
Once you have adjusted the drying degree, this setting will be retained even after the
dryer has been switched off.
Low Heat ^
Low temperature for delicate fabrics, e.g. polyacrylic and elastane. May increase the
length of the programme.
Press the two selection buttons at the same time and hold them for 3 seconds. The
menu will be displayed on the display panel.
End signal or button signal
Select the programme end signal volume or the button signal volume. Signal: Off –
Quiet – Medium – Loud – Very loud.
Default setting: Loud
Autom. switch off
Time after which the dryer automatically switches off once the programme has
ended: Never, 15, 30 or 60 min. Default setting: 15 min
Note: If you have switched Wi-Fi on, the automatic switch-off is set to Never.
Language
Select the language you require on the display panel.
Enables the appliance to be started remotely via the Home Connect app.
Remote start remains enabled for 24 hours after it has been activated. It will be
deactivated automatically if you do not start the programme via the
Home Connect app during this time. If you carry out any operations on the appliance
itself, such as opening the door or selecting a different programme, the remote start
button will be deactivated for safety reasons.
Notes
Remote start can only be activated if the appliance door is closed.
