You will receive one master
key and one spare key. If you
lose a key, read the informa-
tion on the electronic immobi-
lizer, EWS ( 22).

Switching on ignition
• Turn the key into position U.
» Parking light and all function
circuits switched on.
» Pre-ride check is
performed ( 53).

» ABS self-diagnosis is
performed ( 55).

» Engine can be started.
Switching off ignition
• Turn the key into position
V .
» Light switched off.
» Steering lock unsecured.
» In this position, you can
remove the key.
