Troubleshooting

If you suspect something wrong
Check and take steps as described below.
If the described suggestions do not solve the problem,
it is recommended to take the unit to your nearest
authorized Panasonic Servicenter. The product should
be serviced only by qualifi ed personnel. Please refer
checking and repair to professionals.
Panasonic shall not be liable for any accidents arising
out of neglect of checking the unit or your own repair
after your checking.
Never take measures except those indicated by
italic letters in "Possible solution" described below
because those are too dangerous for users to handle
themselves.
XM Satellite Radio control
Problem
Channel unselectable
VCR, Camcorder, Rear view camera, Rear monitor
Problem
The picture from a car
navigation system is
not displayed.
The picture from a
VCR or a camcorder is
not displayed.
The picture from a rear
view camera is not
displayed.
iPod
Problem
The iPod does not
function normally.
There is a "bump"
sound at the start of a
track during playback.
The iPod continues to
display " Strada"
even after it has been

disconnected from the
system.

Possible cause
No contract with XM Satellite Radio Inc..
Refer to page 8 of this book and the XM's website to sign up for XM radio
service.
Possible cause
The connection of a car navigation system is not correct.
Connect it correctly.
A VCR or camcorder is not connected correctly.
Connect a VCR or camcorder correctly.
Rear view camera is not connected correctly.
Connect a rear view camera correctly.
"Rear View Camera" is set to [Off] under Install. Setting screen.
Set "Rear View Camera" to [On].
Possible cause
The iPod was not recognized correctly.
Check the connection.
Reset the iPod, then connect it again.
The iPod is an old version.
Update the iPod version, then connect it again.
There is no problem with the iPod or the system.
Reset the iPod.
Warning
If the unit is out of order (no power, no sound) or
in an abnormal state (has foreign objects in it, is
exposed to water, is smoking, or smells), turn it
off immediately and consult your dealer.
Do not disassemble, modify the unit or attempt to
repair the product yourself. If the product needs to
be repaired, consult your dealer or an authorized
Panasonic Servicenter.
