Changing the character mode

Input text using characters from the following character modes.

Press e (mode) in the text

⇒ The Character mode display appears.
Turn j to select the character

mode, and press p (select).
⇒ You can now input text in the selected character mode.
The character mode can also be changed by pressing
e (next), 1 to 9, *, or # in the
Character mode display.
