Using the infrared data exchange feature
to send data
You can send phone book entries, profile data, data in data folders, and other data to other
au cellphones that are equipped with the infrared data exchange feature.
Example: To send profile data
Press p (menu) in the idle

⇒ The profile display appears.
Press q (option).

Turn j to select "send Ir data,"

⇒ Data is sent through the infrared data exchange feature.
When sending finishes, the display on the right
appears.
You may be required to input your authentication password. The authentication
password is the four-digit arbitrary numbers decided with the communication partner.
