Safe Use of the Machine

Unpacking

Unpack the machine and check that all the parts ordered are there.
Please make sure that all the parts are undamaged. Pay special attention to the vacuum cleaner, motor top
and cable. If one of these parts has been damaged, you must not start using the machine.
Contact the dealer or V. BRØNDUM A/S.

Electricity Connection

Connect RONDA
20 to 230 V AC at 50 Hz. See the type plate on top of the vacuum cleaner.

Before Use

Before you start using the vacuum cleaner it is recommended to check the filter bag. Loosen the two black
clips on the side of the RONDA
Teflon filter and make sure that the filter bag is not filled. Change the filter bag, if necessary.
Place the motor top on the collection container again. Be careful not to damage the filter bag when the motor
top is placed.
Fasten the motor top with the two clips.
Mount the suction hose in the coupling of the vacuum cleaner and connect the accessory suited for the task
(tube, nozzle etc.).

Change of Filter Bag

Remove the motor top as described and take out the Teflon filter. Remove the flange of the filter bag from the
container coupling and close the filter bag.
Place a new filter bag in the collection container. Make sure that the flange is correctly mounted on the
container coupling. Put the Teflon filter and motor top back and fasten the motor top with the two clips.

Outlet for Electrical Hand Tools

RONDA
20 is provided with an outlet for electrical hand tools. The outlet is placed on the back of the motor

top.
Connect the electrical tool. Put the AUTO-button in position "O" and the ON/OFF-button of the vacuum cleaner
in position "ON". Now the vacuum cleaner is automatically turned on and off, when the electrical hand tool is
turned on and off. Please note that the RONDA
hose etc. of dust.

Teflon Filter

RONDA
20 is equipped with a Teflon filter which holds back the small particles. Check regularly, for instance

in connection with the emptying, that the surface of the Teflon filter is intact. If the blue surface is worn (full of
holes) the filter should be changed.

HEPA-Filter

RONDA
20 is equipped with a large HEPA-filter, which holds back the small particles. The HEPA-filter should

be changed once a year.
Check regularly that the HEPA-filter is intact and correctly placed.
