It is interesting to note that in the HYMNUS IV model, the phenomenon of acoustic undulation is completely natural. In fact, on one of the channels the note played is in tune, while on the other the note is sharp.

    COMBINATION ACTION HYMNUS IV offers 5 general combinations with automatic return to hand-set registration. The corresponding controls appear as thumb pistons numbered from 1 to 5 under Manual I. The LEDS indicating the setting of the 5 combinations are located above Manual II.

    “0” position. REVERBERATION A digital Reverberation device has been incorporated into HYMNUS IV in order to improve the sound performance of the instrument, especially in small rooms with little resonance. The relative REVERB EFFECT and REVERB LEVEL controls are located in the appropriate control panel (see next section).

  • Page 13 AHLBORN - HYMNUS IV INTERNAL AMPLIFICATION HYMNUS IV is supplied with internal amplification specially studied to enhance the tonal resources and vast sound channelling possibilities. The presence of two small diffusers (Top Tweeters) pointing upwards permits an improved expansion of the acoustic sounds in the environment, offering the organist maximum sound definition, such as could be obtained by playing, for example, in the vicinity of the pipes.

  • Page 15 The C/C sharp effect must be related to the windchests of a pipe organ. It is not advisable to locate the speaker cabinets too far away from the HYMNUS IV console: an excessive distance can cause an irritating time lag.

  • Page 20 AVVERTENZE D'USO Il simbolo del fulmine con la freccia all'interno di un triangolo equilatero serve a segnalare la presenza di "tensioni pericolose" all'interno dell'apparecchio, che possono essere di intensità sufficiente a costituire un rischio di scossa elettrica. Il punto esclamativo all'interno di un triangolo equilatero serve a segnalare l'esistenza di importanti istruzioni d’uso e di manutenzione nella documentazione che correda lo strumento.

    8', la Voce celeste è un registro adatto alla letteratura musicale romantica e moderna. E' interessante rilevare che nell'organo HYMNUS IV il fenomeno del battimento acustico avviene nel modo più naturale. Infatti a uno dei due canali è indirizzato il suono accordato giustamente, all'altro quello crescente.

COMBINAZIONI AGGIUSTABILI HYMNUS IV dispone di N. 5 combinazioni aggiustabili generali e ritorno automatico della combinazione preparata a mano. I relativi comandi sono disponibili sotto forma di PISTONCINI numerati da 1 a 5 sotto il I Manuale.

In tal caso, ripremendo lo stesso pistoncino numerato, ritornerà la registrazione originale. PER ANNULLARE TUTTE O PARTE DELLE COMBINAZIONI: Premere l'annullatore generale A, assicurandosi che nessuna placchetta sia inserita.

VOLUME PEDALE, con controllo a cursore accanto ai registri del Pedale.
  • Page 28 In pratica è possibile “suonare” attraverso le tastiere dell' HYMNUS IV un altro strumento musicale MIDI compatibile, o viceversa. Collegando ad esempio la presa MIDI OUT dell' HYMNUS IV con la presa MIDI IN di un altro strumento è possibile suonare entrambi gli strumenti per mezzo delle tastiere e della pedaliera dell' HYMNUS IV.
  • Page 29 AHLBORN - HYMNUS IV AMPLIFICAZIONE INTERNA HYMNUS IV è dotato di un'amplificazione interna appositamente studiata per valorizzarne le eccezionali risorse timbriche e le vaste possibilità di canalizzazione dei suoni. La presenza di due piccoli diffusori (Top Tweeters) rivolti verso l'alto consente di espandere meglio i suoni acuti in ambiente, offrendo inoltre all'organista la massima definizione sonora, quale potrebbe avere, per esempio, suonando un organo in vicinanza delle canne.
  • Page 30 AHLBORN - HYMNUS IV COME OPERARE Portarsi in posizione "Panoramic = off", come precedentemente indicato. Premere ENTER: l'indicazione "off" comincia a lampeggiare. Premere DECR. o INCR. per passare alle posizioni "Panoramic 1" o "Panoramic 2". NOTA BENE: in presenza di Panoramic 1 e 2 è esclusa la possibilità di regolare la canalizzazione delle sezioni.
  • Page 31 L'effetto “lato Do/lato Do diesis” deve essere analogo a quello riscontrabile su un somiere di organo a canne. È sconsigliabile allontanare eccessivamente la consolle dell' HYMNUS IV dalle casse acustiche. Una distanza eccessiva potrebbe causare fastidiosi ritardi dovuti esclusiva- mente alla propagazione del suono nell'ambiente.

  • Page 55 AHLBORN - HYMNUS IV SETZERKOMBINATIONEN Die HYMNUS IV verfügt über 5 Setzerkombinationen sowie die Möglichkeit, automatisch in die Handregistrierung zurückzukehren. Hierfür gibt es 5 Handpistons (von 1 bis 5 numeriert) unter dem I.Manual. Die LED-Anzeige für die 5 Kombinationen befindet sich über dem II.Manual.

LAUTSTÄRKEREGELUNG UND SCHWELLER Die Lautstärke der drei Werke wird bei der HYMNUS IV wie folgt geregelt: HAUPTWERK: mit dem Schieberegler neben den Hauptwerksregistern. PEDALWERK: mit dem Schieberegler neben den Pedalwerksregistern.
  • Page 57 BEMERKUNG: Bei normalem Vortrag sollte dieser Schiebeschalter auf "0" stehen. HALLEFFEKT Die HYMNUS IV-Orgel besitzt eine digitale Halleinrichtung. Hiermit wird der Klang der Orgel insbesondere in kleinen Räumen mit geringer Akustik den dort herrschenden Verhältnissen angepaßt. Die Regelungsmöglichkeiten ersehen Sie aus dem nächsten Abschnitt.

Diese betreffen die primären Operationen, die auf einem Instrument ausgeführt werden können (gespielte Tasten, Betätigung der diversen Schalter). In der Praxis ist es möglich, mit den HYMNUS IV-Tastaturen ein anderes MIDI-kompatibles Instrument zu "spielen" und umgekehrt.
  • Page 59 AHLBORN - HYMNUS IV Bei der HYMNUS IV-Orgel trifft man die Auswahl des MIDI-Kanals durch die Fernbedienung (siehe Bedienungsanleitung hierzu). Die MIDI-Tabelle im Anhang gibt hierzu weitere Informationen. INTERNER VERSTÄRKER Die HYMNUS IV-Orgel ist mit einem bereits integrierten, höchst leistungsfähigen Abstrahlsystem ausgestattet, das die natürliche Klangabstrahlung in nahezu alle Richtungen ermöglicht.

    Om de originele fabriekpresets weer te verkrijgen, schakel de vereiste registers in zoals hierboven beschreven en herhaal de handelingen 1 t/m 4. VOLUME-BALANS EN ZWELPEDAAL De HYMNUS IV is voorzien van volumeregelaars voor elk van de 3 onderstaande secties: HOOFDWERK VOLUME; Deze schuifregelaar bevindt zich naast de registers van het hoofdwerk.

Als bijv. de MIDI -Out van de Hymnus IV wordt aangesloten op de MIDI -In van een ander instrument, wordt het mogelijk om door de beide manualen en pedaal van de Hymnus IV te bespelen, gelijktijdig de klanken van beide instrumenten te laten klinken.

Druk op DECR. of INCR. om de gewenste waarde te kiezen. Druk eenmaal op EXIT om verder te gaan met het aanpassen van andere registerfamilies door de punten 2-3-4 te herhalen.
  • Page 74 Het C-cis lade-effect komt op deze wijze in verhouding het best overeen met de windlades in het pijporgel. Plaats de speakerparen niet te ver van de Hymnus IV. Een te grote afstand kan zodoende een storende factor zijn m.b.t. het indrukken van de toetsen en het tijdstip dat u het geluid hoort.

Presionar el pulsador fijador F y manteniendo la presión, apretar un pulsador cualquiera. El registro elegido quedará fijado. Anular las plaquetas utilizando del anulador general A y repetir el proceso con los pulsadores numerados que estén todavía disponibles.
