     This camera is a plug and play device. You can download the pictures and videos captured by your camera without the software by directly accessing the camera’s memory card from your computer. It is recommended however that you install the Vivitar Experience™ Image Manager Software to enjoy the full Vivitar Experience™.

    Initial Camera Setup CHARGING THE BATTERY Power off the camera. Move the USB/Memory Card cover to reveal the USB port and Micro SD Card slot. Using the supplied USB cable, connect the smaller end of the cable to your camera and the other end of the USB cable to your computer’s USB port.

    INSTALLING THE SD MEMORY CARD A Micro SD Memory Card must be installed in the camera for normal use. Make sure the card is genuine high-speed Micro SD Memory card, CLASS 4 or above. Use a genuine TF Card with the capacity as 4GB or above (up to 32 GB). IMPORTANT: The camera will not capture photos, videos or audio without a Micro SD card.

    Using the Telescope Eye Distance Adjustment While holding the telescope in a normal observing position, hold both lens cones tightly, making sure both lens cones rotate inward or outward until you see a single round image through both lenses of the telescope. In this case, the outgoing interpupillary distance from the lens is the same as yours.

    Main Camera Modes Your camera has different modes for the various camera functions. You can switch modes by pressing the MODE button on your camera after the camera has been powered ON. VIDEO CAPTURE MODE Use this mode to capture videos with your digital camera. This is the default mode when the camera is powered ON.
  • Page 9 AUDIO CAPTURE MODE Use this mode to record audio with your camera. After turning on your camera, press the MODE button twice to open the Audio Capture Mode. To record audio, press the Shutter button or the OK button. A recording time lapse indicator appears on the LCD while the recording is in progress.

    Changing Camera Mode Your camera has four main modes: Video Capture Mode - Use this mode to capture videos with your camera. Photo Capture Mode - Use this mode to capture photos with your camera. Audio Capture Mode - Use this mode to record sound with your camera. Playback Mode (for Videos, Photos and Audio) - Use this mode to review the videos, photos and audio you have already recorded with your camera.

    Video Capture Mode The Video Capture Mode allows you to capture videos with your digital camera. When the camera is first powered ON, the camera will be in Video Capture Mode by default.
