Recharging the tracker
o
Please check and confirm that the adapter model is suitable for this tracker, we recommend using only the USB
charger supplied.
o
Warning: this tracker uses 5V DC voltage to recharge, so too high a voltage or AC current may damage the tracker or
even cause accidents.
o
Use the supplied car adapter to recharge the tracker. Insert the USB connector into the tracker and car adapter. If
the LED on the adapter is RED, it means it is recharging, if the LED on the adapter is GREEN, this means the
recharging has completed. This will take around 2-4 hours.
o
Use the home AC adapter to recharge the tracker. As above, insert the USB connector into the tracker and AC
adapter, If the LED on the adapter is RED, it means it is recharging, if the LED on the adapter is GREEN, it means the
recharging is finished. This will take around 2-4 hours.
o
When recharging, you can use the tracker as normal, however it will take about 3-4 hours to finish charging and for
the adapter LED will turn to GREEN.
o
When the battery is low, the LED will flash three times, and send battery low information to the first preset number.
When the battery voltage is very low, the tracker will power off automatically, but when you recharge the tracker, it will
power on automatically.
o
Theoretically the battery will last about 5–7 days, however the standby time can be shorter in real life situations.
For example, GPS in continuous operation and/or weak GSM signals can reduce the standby time to 1-2 days.
