Coupling the two earbuds

When you put both earbuds in your ears, they will automatically couple and emit a sound in
turn. Once coupled, they will be automatically connected in the future.
• I f the main earbud comes out of your ear, the earbuds and the mobile device will
be disconnected. Refer to
main earbud.
• I f an earbud comes out of your ear, the coupling between the two earbuds is
disconnected.
• W hen the coupling is disconnected, remove both earbuds from your ears and
wear them again. The coupling is automatically recovered. If the coupling is not
recovered, ensure the you wear the earbuds correctly.
• I f you lose an earbud, you may have a problem using some earbuds' features. For
purchase enquiries, visit a Samsung Service Centre.
• I f you replace a lost earbud, place the earbuds in the charging case and connect
the case to your computer. Then, use Gear IconX PC Manager to pair the two
earbuds.

Setting the main earbud

Set the main earbud to use the call feature and to record exercise information. The right
earbud is preset as the main earbud.

On the Apps screen of the mobile device, tap Samsung Gear.

Tap SETTINGS → Select main earbud, tap the right or the left earbud, and then tap OK.
You can also select the main earbud from the Earbuds card in INFO.
