Device Layout Push the Cover open button to open the charging case. Check the direction of each earbud and insert them into the left and right slots of the charging case. Close the charging case. Connect the USB cable to the USB power adapter (sold separately), and then plug the end of the USB cable into the multi-purpose jack of the charging case.
• If the earbuds and charging case are not charging properly, take them with the charger to a Samsung Service Center. • Avoid bending the charger. Doing so may damage or reduce the lifespan of the charger.
View the battery level from the connected mobile device Connect the earbuds to your mobile device, and open the Apps screen of the mobile device. Tap Samsung Gear > Info, to view the battery status of each earbud. Refer to Transfer music files from your mobile device for more information.
Device Layout Indicator light identification The indicator lights inform you of your earbuds’ charging status. Two indicator lights are located on the left and right sides of the charging case’s open button and show the charging status of each earbud, respectively. The indicator light next to the charging case’s multipurpose jack indicates the charging status of the case itself.

Device Layout Wear the earbuds Attach an earbud tip to the earbud Select the earbud tip that fits your ear. Cover the latch at the bottom of the earbud with the earbud tip. Do not touch the Heart Rate Sensor with your finger when handling or while in use for measuring heart rate, as this may affect accuracy of the device reading.
Device Layout Attach a wing tip to the earbud Select the wing tip that fits your ear. Select the wing tip for the left or right ear. Cover the earbud with the wingtip. Do not put the wingtips on the earbuds in the wrong direction. The earbuds will not fit in your ears properly.

Check the direction of each earbud and insert them into your ears with the wingtip facing upwards until they sit comfortably in your ears. Set the main earbud to use the call feature and to record exercise information. The right earbud is preset as the main earbud. On the Apps screen of the mobile device, tap Samsung Gear. Use the Earbuds • Do not talk, yawn, or breathe deeply while taking heart rate measurements. Doing so may cause your heart rate to be recorded inaccurately. • Because the heart rate sensor uses light to approximate heart rate, its accuracy may vary due to physical factors that affect light absorption and reflection, such as blood circulation/blood pressure, skin condition and location and concentration of blood vessels.
Use the Earbuds Answer a second call When a second call comes in during a call, the earbuds will emit a sound. To end the current call and answer the second call: Double-tap the touchpad. To place the current call on hold and answer the second call: Double-tap the touchpad.
