Conditions of Use Switch the USB-Modem off before boarding an aircraft. Switch the USB-Modem off when you are in health care facilities, except in designated areas. As with many other types of equipment now in regular use, the USB-Modem can interfere with other electrical or electronic devices, or equipment-using radio frequencies.

The radio wave exposure guidelines use a unit of measurement known as the Specific Absorption Rate, or SAR. The SAR limit for mobile devices is 2 W/kg. Tests for SAR are conducted using standard operating positions with the device transmitting at its highest certified power level in all tested frequency bands.
