■ Alert display

If a steering system malfunction occurs, a
window appears on the Digital Network
Gauge (6Y9) display and a buzzer sounds.
TIP:
For message details, see "Alert Notifications"
on page 1.
Pressing the "SET" button stops the buzzer
(1st press) and closes the window (2nd
press). A steering control system trouble
alert icon will be displayed in the alert display
area of the corresponding engine.

TIP:
• The buzzer also sounds if there is an
engine malfunction, as the malfunction
may affect boat maneuvering by the Helm
Master control system.
• When a warning for water in fuel, engine

lanyard switch, overheat, or low oil pres-
sure occurs, the buzzer will not stop until
the cause of the warning is corrected even
if the "SET" button is pressed.

1. Helm Master control system trouble alert
If there are steering control system trouble
alerts contact a Yamaha dealer immediately.
