1.2 Electrical connection

The p r i n t e r can be switched t o one of t h e
following AC mains v o l t a g e ranges:
Check t h a t t h e v o l t a g e range marked on t h e
r a t i n g p l a t e a t t h e r e a r of t h e p r i n t e r
corresponds t o your mains v o l t a g e .
I f i t does n o t , unscrew t h e p l a t e and change t h e
p o s i t i o n of t h e r e d v o l t a g e s e l e c t o r . Check t h a t
t h e f u s e f i t t e d corresponds t o t h e v a l u e
i n d i c a t e d on t h e r a t i n g p l a t e . Turn o v e r t h e
r a t i n g p l a t e and r e f i t i t t o r e l o c k t h e v o l t a g e
s e l e c t o r .
The 2 A American-sized f u s e s a r e used with t h e
gray f u s e h o l d e r cap, and t h e 1 A European-sized
f u s e s a r e used with t h e b l a c k f u s e h o l d e r cap.
The p r i n t e r must be connected t o a 2 p o l e

e a r t h AC supply. The e a r t h conductor i n t h e
mains c a b l e i s coloured GREEN and YELLOW.
Connect t h e c a b l e from t h e computer t o t h e d a t a
c a b l e s o c k e t .
