Once you have l e a r n e d t o l o a d paper i n t o t h e
616
CN, you w i l l f i n d i t very e a s y . W e w i l l d e s c r i b e
both l o a d i n g paper with a t r a c t o r f e e d e r and a
s h e e t f e e d e r .
3.1 Loading
paper w i t h a tractor
The paper can be loaded e i t h e r a s double o r
s i n g l e t r a c t i o n . The double t r a c t i o n v e r s i o n i s
t h e recommended way t o u s e t h e t r a c t o r f e e d e r .
The s i n g l e t r a c t i o n mode i s ONLY recommended f o r
THICK form sets. N o r e v e r s e paper movements a r e
p o s s i b l e i n t h i s mode.

Make sure that the friction platen is disengaged
when using the tractor feeder. The platen friction
drive selector (see figure next page) should be in
position "o o"
