STARTING UP

INSTALLING THE NANO-SIM CARD AND THE BATTERY

The SIM card and battery are normally pre-installed for
you . Follow these instructions should you ever need
to access them yourself . Switch off your phone before
installing or replacing the battery or the nano-SIM card .
The microSDHC card (sold separately) is optional and
can be installed and removed while the phone is turned
on . Unmount the microSDHC card before removing it .
1 . Place your finger in the slot at the bottom of the back
cover to lift and remove the cover .
2 . Hold the nano-SIM card with its cut corner oriented as
shown and slip it into the card holder .
WARNING! To avoid damage to the phone, do not
use any other kind of SIM card, or any non-standard
nano-SIM card cut from a SIM card . You can get a
standard nano-SIM card from your service provider .
3 . Insert the battery by aligning the metal contacts on
the battery with the metal contacts in the battery
compartment . Gently push down on the battery until it
clicks into place .
4 . Align the back cover with the back of the phone and
press the cover back into place . Ensure that all the tabs
are secure and there are no gaps around the cover .
