The memory card is not formatted for use
in the camera.
CARD ERROR The memory card contacts require cleaning
or the memory card is damaged.
Camera malfunction.

x MEMORY FULL The memory card or internal memory is full;
pictures can not be recorded or copied.
INTERNAL MEMORY IS FULL
INSERT A NEW CARD
Memory card error or connection error.
WRITE ERROR Not enough memory remaining to record
additional pictures.
The memory card or internal memory is not

The fi le is corrupt or was not created with

READ ERROR The memory card contacts require
cleaning.

Format the memory card (pg. 85).
Clean the contacts with a soft, dry cloth. If the
message is repeated, format the memory card (pg.
85). If the message persists, replace the memory card.
Contact a FUJIFILM dealer.
Delete pictures or insert a memory card with more
free space.
Re-insert the memory card or turn the camera off
and then on again. If the message persists, contact a
FUJIFILM dealer.
