How
To Use
the
Play
Functions
The
U20
includes various functions that are especially useful
for
live
performance
key
transpose,
chord
play,
and
arpeggio
play.
By
defining
how
these functions
will
work,
you
can turn
them on/
off
at the
touch
of a button.
*
Edited settings are temporary.
If
you want
to
save your
edited
settings,
be sure
to write
them
into
memory
(°-page
37).
Key
Transpose
Key
transpose
shifts
the
keyboard range
in half-steps,
allowing
you
to
play
in
a different
key
while using the
same
fingering.
You
can
transpose over a
range
of
±
3
octaves.
Each
time
you
press
|
TRANSPOSE]
,
key
transpose
will
be
switched on/
off.
When
on.
the button
indicator
will
light.
With
the factory
settings, this will
lower the
pitch
one
octave.
