5. Hook the spring into the top hole of the control bar
bracket (Figure 7).
6. Move the control bar back toward the handle to remove
the slack in the cable, and ensure that the gap between
the control bar and the handle is 1/16 to 1/8 inch (2 to
3 mm) as shown in Figure 7.
7. To adjust this gap, refer to Adjusting the Control Cable.
Important: The control cable must contain slack
when you disengage the control bar.
