Note: Determine the left and right sides of the machine
from the normal operating position.
1. Installing the Handle
Folding or unfolding the handle improperly can
damage the cables, causing an unsafe operating
condition.
•
Do not damage the cables when folding or
unfolding the handle.
•
If a cable is damaged, contact an Authorized
Service Dealer.

moving parts.

up and down slopes; operate
side to side on slopes; stop
the engine before leaving the

Install the handle.

Fill the crankcase with oil.
1. Slip the cable anchor onto the left lower handle end
(Figure 3).

1. Ensure that the notch on the handle end faces upward.
2. Install the left lower handle end and cable anchor onto
the pin on the left handle bracket (Figure 4).
