You can change default camera
operation of constantly focusing
on subjects it is aimed at, even
when the shutter button is not
pressed. Instead, you can limit
camera focusing to the moment
you press the shutter button
halfway.
The unique properties of a lens
may cause vignetting or color
bleeding around the contours of
the subject. These phenomena
can be corrected.
Disable the red-eye reduction
lamp used to automatically
correct red-eye in flash
photography.
Turn off the servo AF that detects
the subject moving ( = 47).
Include or exclude still images
from digest movies.
You can set the quality (image
size and frame rate) of movies
( = 56).
Turn off sound recording in
movies.
Keep the focus fixed while
shooting movies.
Stop the camera from focusing
when the shutter button is
pressed halfway when shooting
still photos while recording a
movie.
