Change the network and Internet settings.
On the Settings screen, tap Network & Internet.
• W iFi: Activate the Wi-Fi feature to connect to a Wi-Fi network and change the related
settings.
• Y our device uses a non-harmonised frequency and is intended for use in all
European countries. The WLAN can be operated in the EU without restriction
indoors, but cannot be operated outdoors.
• T urn off Wi-Fi to save the battery when not in use.
• F light mode: Activate or deactivate flight mode. This disables all wireless functions on
your device. You can use only non-network services.
Make sure the device is turned off during takeoff and landing. After takeoff, you can
use the device in flight mode if allowed by aircraft personnel.
• M obile (mobile network-enabled models): Configure your mobile network settings.
• W hen using the Wi-Fi feature, you should deactivate the mobile data connection.
If the mobile data connection is activated, you may incur additional charges, even
when the Wi-Fi feature is activated.
• T o search for available mobile networks and manually connect to a network,
disconnect from your current network first.
• D ata usage: Keep track of your data usage amount.
• D ata usage (mobile network-enabled models): Keep track of your data usage amount
and customise the settings for the limitation.
• M obile hotspot (mobile network-enabled models): Use the device as a mobile hotspot to
share the device's mobile data connection with other devices.
• V PN: Set up and connect to virtual private networks (VPNs).
• D ial-up: Configure the dial-up settings.
• P roxy: Configure the proxy settings.
