Set Your Network Options
1. From home, tap
mode.
2. Select LTE/CDMA or CDMA. The phone will scan for the best available network and will
automatically connect to it.
When your phone is connected to the Enhanced 4G LTE network, the

Note: The Enhanced 4G LTE network is self-discoverable, which means no additional steps are required
for your phone to connect to it.

Data Connection Status and Indicators

Your phone displays the current status of your data connection through indicators at the top of the screen.
The following symbols are used:
Icon
Description
Network (full signal): The number of bars indicates the strength of the signal. More bars
mean a better signal
Enhanced 4G LTE data service: Your phone is connected to the Enhanced 4G LTE
network. The rays spin when data is being transferred
3G (data service): Your phone is connected to the 3G network. When the icon is animated,
your phone is transferring or receiving data

Hotspot

Use the Hotspot feature to share your phone's data connection with other devices via Wi-Fi.
Important: Use of the Hotspot feature requires an additional subscription. Visit

Note: Turning on Hotspot on will disable your phone's connection to other Wi-Fi networks.
Note: Using the Hotspot feature consumes battery power and uses data services.
Turn Hotspot On or Off
To conserve battery life, turn Hotspot on when you need it and turn it off when you're finished. You can
control Hotspot from Settings.
