Settings

Introduction

Customise settings for functions and apps. You can make your Gear more personalised by
configuring various setting options.
Tap Settings on the Apps screen.

Display

Change the display settings.
On the Settings screen, tap Display.
• W atch faces: Select a watch type.
• W atch always on: Set the Gear to display a watch when the screen is turned off.
• N otification indicator: Set the Gear to display an orange dot on the Watch screen to alert
you to notifications that you have not checked.
• B rightness: Adjust the brightness for the display.
• S creen timeout: Set the length of time the Gear waits before turning off the display's
backlight.
• F ont: Change the font type and size.

Sound

Change settings for various sounds.
On the Settings screen, tap Sound.
• S ound mode: Set the Gear to use sound mode or silent mode.
• V olume: Adjust the volume level for various sounds.
• V ibration: Change the vibration settings.
• R ingtones: Change the ringtone.
• T ouch sounds: Set the Gear to make a sound when apps or options are selected on the
touchscreen.
