Voice Input Settings

The Voice input feature is a voice-activated application that allows you to tell the tablet what to search for
and then the tablet activates a Google search based on what you said.
1. From home, tap
2. Tap Voice input for these options:
Enhanced Google services: Tap for full voice interaction services.
Basic Google recognition: Tap for simple voice recognition services.

Text-to-Speech Options

Text-to-speech (TTS) provides audible readout of text.
1. From home, tap
2. Tap Text-to-speech options to configure:
Preferred TTS engine: Select Google Text-to-speech engine. Tap
Speech rate: Choose a rate for text readouts.
Listen to an example: Play an example of speech used for readouts.
Default language status: See the status of the current default language.

Pointer Speed

Adjust the speed of the pointer, when you use your finger to enter text.
1. From home, tap
2. Tap Pointer speed, and then drag the slider to set the pointer speed.

Palm Motion Settings

Use the palm and side of your hand to control your device.

From home, tap
2. Tap the ON/OFF switch to turn Palm motion on.
3. Tap the ON/OFF switch to turn each option on:
Capture screen: Take screen captures by swiping the screen from right to left or vice versa
with the side of your hand.
Mute/pause: Mute or pause sounds by covering the screen.
