To install the battery pack to the tool, align the raised portion of the battery pack (6) with the grooves on the bottom of the drill/driver, and slide it firmly into the handle until you hear the battery release button snap into place (Fig A). -

When this occurs you will need to immediately stop drill/driving and allow the battery cells to reduce the temperature. -
