      4 Set up password Your mobile phone and the SIM card have a variety of passwords. You can set a protect code (PIN) to protect your SIM card against unauthorized use. The PIN code is usually supplied with the SIM card. When the PIN code request is set to on, your phone will request the PIN code every time it is switched on.
