Motion Control Settings

You can control your device by
using various hand motions and
gestures. You can also control
your device's screen based on
the orientation of your face.
Air Gesture
Control your device by making specific gestures
with your hand.
1. From a Home screen, tap
Settings > CONTROLS tab.
2. Tap Air gesture.
3. Tap ON/OFF to turn the feature on.
4. Tap ON/OFF to turn on each option, and then
tap the option to try it.
Air View
Preview information, extend text, or enlarge pictures
by hovering your finger over the screen.
1. From a Home screen, tap
Settings > CONTROLS tab.
2. Tap Air view.
3. Tap ON/OFF to turn the feature on.
4. Tap an option and following the onscreen
instructions.

Air Command
When you press the pen button while hovering your
pen over the screen, the air command feature will
appear.
1. From a Home screen, tap
Settings > CONTROLS tab.
2. Tap Air command.
3. Tap ON/OFF to turn the feature on.
4. Read the onscreen instructions for more
information.
Motions
Control your device with natural movements.
1. From a Home screen, tap
Settings > CONTROLS tab.
2. Tap Motions.
3. Tap ON/OFF to enable each of the following:
Direct call: Call the contact whose call log,
message, or contact details are currently on
the screen by bringing the device close to
your ear.
Smart alert: Set the device to vibrate when
you pick it up to notify you about missed calls
and messages.
Zoom: Zoom in or out of the screen when in
Gallery or Internet.
Browse an image: Move around an image
when zoomed in.
Mute/pause: Mute or pause sounds and video
by covering the screen or turning over the
device.
