Increase Volume in Pocket

This option increases the ringtone volume when the
device is in a pocket or a bag. It uses the proximity
sensor to detect its location.
1. From a Home screen, tap
Settings > DEVICE tab > Call.
2. Tap Increase volume in pocket to create a
check mark and enable the feature.

Voicemail Settings

You can view your voicemail number from this menu.
1. From a Home screen, tap
Settings > DEVICE tab > Call.
2. Tap Service provider.
3. If an additional voicemail service is in use (other
than the carrier), tap Voicemail settings to view
your selected voicemail number and information.

Alert Sound

This option allows you to assign your default
voicemail notification tone.
1. From a Home screen, tap
Settings > DEVICE tab > Call.
2. Tap Alert sound.
3. Select a voicemail notification tone and tap OK.
Vibrate
This option allows you to activate a vibration for an
incoming voicemail.
1. From a Home screen, tap
Settings > DEVICE tab > Call.
2. Tap Vibrate to create a check mark and enable
the feature.

Other Call Settings

Auto Retry
Auto Retry automatically re-dials a number at a
preset interval, when there is no answer or the
dialed party is busy.
Depending upon your location, the number of times
your phone re-dials a number may vary.
1. From a Home screen, tap
Settings > DEVICE tab > Call.
2. Tap Auto retry to create a check mark and
activate the Auto retry feature.
DTMF Tones
DTMF tones let you select the length of the tone
(Normal or Long) that the keypad generates each
time you press a key.
Note: The Long setting can be useful with automated
systems.
1. From a Home screen, tap
Settings > DEVICE tab > Call.
2. Tap DTMF tones and then tap Normal or Long.
Voice Privacy
Use this setting to activate enhanced privacy mode.
Note: If Enhanced voice security is unavailable at a
particular location, you phone reverts temporarily to
Standard voice security.
1. From a Home screen, tap
Settings > DEVICE tab > Call.
2. Tap Voice privacy to create a check mark and
activate the feature.
