Internal EDID Indicator This LED turns bright blue when the Internal EDID is being used. TV Indicator This LED turns bright green when the External EDID is being used.
CONNECTING AND OPERATING THE GEFENTV 1:4 SPLITTER FOR HDMI 1.3 How to Connect the GefenTV 1:4 Switcher for HDMI 1.3 Use the provided HDMI cables to connect the source devices to the HDMI input port of the GefenTV 4:1 Switcher for HDMI 1.3.
To use this mode, press the EDID button on the rear panel until the front- panel LED marked “Int” turns bright blue. This mode will use a preset EDID, from the factory, that is stored in the GefenTV 1:3 Splitter for HDMI 1.3. This pre-programmed standard EDID data structure is compatible with most A/V display devices.
EDID MANAGEMENT External EDID Management To use the External EDID mode, press the EDID button on the rear panel until the front-panel LED marked “TV” turns bright green. Display Connections • The information contained in the Internal EDID is used as the default EDID until a display is connected to the Splitter and the Splitter is power-cycled.
