6. Troubleshooting
Problem
Blue Wifi LED is not lit.
Remote won't connect (blue
LED flashing quickly)
Motors are moving but the
joystick isn't being used
Red LED flashing and then
remote turns off.
Need to restore factory
settings

Cause
Not turned on
Batteries not installed
Wrong battery polarity
Remote not paired to your
StackShot 3X.
StackShot 3X not in "Access
Point" mode.
Joystick wasn't centered at
power-up.
Dead-zone setting is too small. Increase the dead-zone
Batteries are discharged.
Operator Error -- you did
something bad!

Solution
Press the center "B" power
button to turn on remote.
Place two AA batteries into
the remote.
Check that the batteries are
inserted in the correct
orientation.
Follow the pairing procedure
in section "3 - Pairing
Process".
See section "3 - Pairing
Process" for details on how to
enable "Access Point" mode
on your StackShot 3X.
When you first turn on the
Remote, it will perform a
calibration for the center
position. Be sure to not be
tilting the joystick when
turning on the remote.
setting (default is 15%).
Replace with fresh batteries.
With the remote off, press
and hold the power button
until the blue LED goes out.
Release the power button.
You will have to re-pair your
remote with your StackShot
3X controller.
