Assembly
Warning! Before assembly, make sure that the tool is
switched off and unplugged.
Warning! Before assembly, make sure the bail handle (2) is
released and the safety key (3) is removed.
Handles
To engage the handle bar, pull upwards on the upper
u
frame (15) as shown in Figure B.
Secure the connection of the lower frame (17) to the
u
middle frame (14) by fastening the handle bolts (18) and
frame knobs (6) on each side as shown in Figures C & D.
Secure the connection of the middle frame (14) to the
u
upper frame (15) by tightening the handle bolts and frame
knobs (6) on each side as shown in Figure E.

Discharge Chute

Place the chute deflector (11) onto the discharge chute
u
(10).
Insert a chute gasket (19) in between the chute connection
u
and secure the assembly with a deflector knob (12) and
bolt (20) on each side as shown in Figures F, G & H.
Position the chute deflector to the desired height of the
u
snow stream.
NOTE: Do not overtighten the deflector knobs.
Chute rotation rod
Insert chute rotation rod (5) through the slot in the eye
u
hook (21) located on the middle frame (14) as shown in
Figure I.
Locate the chute rotation coupler (22) on the main
u
housing.
Insert the chute rotation rod into the chute rotation coupler
u
(22) and secure the assembly with the supplied retaining
pin (23) as shown in Figure J.
Installing and removing the battery pack
Warning! Make certain the safety key is removed to prevent
actuation before removing or installing battery.
To install battery pack
Lift up on the battery compartment cover (7) to expose the
u
battery compartment (24) as shown in Figure K.
Slide the battery (25) into the battery compartment until it
u
is fully seated and an audible click is heard as shown in
Figure L. Make sure battery pack is fully seated and fully
latched into position.
Close the battery compartment cover. Ensure the cover is
u
fully latched before starting snow thrower.
To remove battery pack
Open the battery compartment cover (7) as described
u
above.

Depress the battery release button located on the battery
u
pack and pull battery pack out of tool as shown in Figure
M.
Use
READ THIS INSTRUCTION MANUAL BEFORE OPERATING
YOUR SNOW THROWER. See "Functional Description" to
familiarize yourself with the location of various controls and
adjustments. Save this manual for future reference.
Warning! Let the appliance work at its own pace. Do not
overload.
Open the battery compartment cover and slide the battery
u
into the battery compartment until it is fully seated and an
audible click is heard Figure L. Make sure battery pack is
fully seated and fully latched into position.
Close the battery compartment cover. Ensure the cover is
u
fully latched before starting snow thrower.
Insert safety key (3) into the key slot (26) located on the
u
switch housing until it is fully seated inside housing as
shown in Figure N. The snow thrower is now operational.
This snow thrower is equipped with a special on-off switch
u
box. To operate the snow thrower, push the safety switch
button (4) on the switch box (27), then pull the ON/OFF
switch bail handle (2) to the handle bar as shown in Figure
O.
To turn the snow thrower off, simply release the ON/OFF
u
switch bail handle (2).

Operating tips

Warning! Always inspect area where snow thrower is to be
used and remove all stones, sticks, wire, bones, and other
debris which might be thrown by the snow thrower.
Warning! Some parts of the snow thrower may freeze under
extreme temperature conditions. Do not attempt to operate the
snow thrower when parts are frozen. If a part freezes while the
snow thrower is in use, stop the snow thrower, remove the
battery, and inspect for frozen parts. Free all parts before
restarting or operating the snow thrower.
Warning! Exercise extreme caution when changing direction
on slopes. Always maintain good footing.
Keep the area of operation free of foreign objects that can
u
become thrown by the auger blades. Some objects may
be hidden from view by snow cover. If the snow thrower
hits an obstruction or picks up a foreign object during use,
stop the snow thrower, remove the battery, remove the
obstruction, and inspect the unit for damage. Repair or
replace any damaged part before restarting and operating
the unit.
Ensure children, pets, and bystanders are kept away from
u
the area of operation.
When moving the snow thrower, use the wheels as the
u
pivot point. Slightly tilt the snow thrower on this pivot point
to move it forward or backward.
