You may not be able to view Malawian channels on the Starsat SR-999USB due to the following reasons:

1. Satellite Dish Alignment: The satellite dish may not be correctly aimed at the satellite broadcasting Malawian channels. You need to adjust the dish for accurate alignment.

2. Weak or No Signal: The signal strength may be too weak, or there may be no signal. Check the signal strength indicator in the channel search submenu.

3. Faulty Equipment: The LNB or cable may be faulty. Try replacing the LNB or cable.

4. Unsupported Satellite or Frequencies: The receiver may not support the specific satellite or frequency used to broadcast Malawian channels.

5. Technical Specifications Mismatch: The receiver supports MPEG-2 and specific frequency ranges (950 MHz to 2150 MHz). Ensure Malawian channels are within this range.

6. Subscription or Encryption Issues: Some channels may require a subscription or decryption key that the receiver does not support.

To resolve the issue, check dish alignment, signal strength, LNB and cable connections, and ensure the satellite carrying Malawian channels is scanned correctly.
