7. Locking the controller
The Key Lock system uses a magnetic key to
power the wheelchair down in such a way to
prevent subsequent unauthorized power up and
driving.
To arm the locking system, wipe the magnetic
key from left to right on the path next to the
key symbol on the DX Remote front panel. The
system will beep and automatically power itself
down and no LEDs should be lit.
To disarm the lock, switch on the remote and
wipe the magnetic key from left to right on the
path next to the key symbol on the DX Remote
front panel. This will cause the LED's to stop
fl ashing and the chair may now be driven
normally. If the wheelchair is not disarmed
within one minute, the remote will automatically
turn itself off.
