If your AV amplifier (receiver) has an HOMI input, use this connection. You can enjoy higher
quality sound from the connected A

amplifier (receiver).
To enjoy 7.1 channel sound, use a High Speed HOMI cable.
If you connect a Sony A V amplifier (receiver) that is compatible with the "Control for HOM1"
function (page
16),
refer to the instruction manual supplied with the A

amplifier (receiver).

Connect the HDMI OUT jack of the
player and your AV amplifier
(receiver).

Set "BD Audio Setting" to "Direct" in
the "Audio Settings" setup (page 46).
To enjoy the secondary audio
(commentary), set "BD Audio Setting"
to "Mix."
