Attach the strap correctly as shown above so that the camera does not fall off. Olympus is not responsible for any damages incurred when the strap is attached incorrectly and the camera comes off. Pull on the strap to make sure it is fastened securely.
What you can do with this camera You can choose from more than 10 different types of scene shooting modes, making it easy to set the appropriate shooting mode for a variety of shooting situations! Once you’ve selected the shooting mode, just press the shutter button to take the picture.

Safety precautions Lightning — If a lightning storm occurs while using a specified AC adapter, remove it from the wall outlet immediately. To avoid damage from unexpected power surges, always unplug the AC adapter from the power outlet and disconnect it from the camera when the camera is not in use.

If the battery leaks, becomes discolored or deformed, or appears abnormal in any way during operation, stop using the camera immediately. Contact your dealer or an authorized Olympus service center. Continued use may result in fire or electric shock. If the battery leaks fluid onto your clothing or skin, remove the clothing and flush the affected area with clean, running cold water immediately.

Loading the battery Removing the battery Make sure that the power lamp is turned off. Slide the knob in the direction of the arrow With the battery held down, tilt the camera carefully so that the battery does not drop from the camera. Remove the battery Close the battery/ card compartment cover.
Charging the battery Charging is performed with the battery loaded in the camera. The battery is not fully charged when purchased.
