NetReach Troubleshooting Guide Connections If a NetReach device is not working properly, first ensure that the unit has proper connections. The following needs to be connected to the NetReach: Ethernet Cable - an Ethernet cable is connected between the LAN Ethernet port of the NetReach and the client router.
NetReach Troubleshooting Guide Function Button Tools The Function button, located on top of the NetReach device, is used to perform several functions depending on the sequence in which the button is pressed. Note that some NetReach units will have the word “WPS” printed on the Function button.
VLAN auto-discovery, press the grey function button located on the top of the NetReach device six times within six seconds. Note that this VLAN auto-discovery process may take up to 40 minutes depending on the type of router that the NetReach is connected to and the firmware version of the router.
