4.12 Gas High Altitude Setting

(no adjustment is needed below 2000 feet)
NOTE: The Mascot ST may be installed at
elevations up to 10,000 ft for use with Natural
Gas or Propane. Altitude settings are entered in
the Installer Mode as describe below.
NOTE: Above 2,000 ft (610 m), the water heater
will de-rate by 2-4% for each 1,000 ft (305 m) of
altitude gain.
1. T urn off the power to the Control Display.
Then Press and hold the 'Function Button'
for approximately 5 seconds to get into the
'Installer mode'.
2. R otate dial
to [9:HA] while in installer mode.
Press the dial to select.
3. T urn the dial
clockwise to select correct altitude
range based on the altitude where the water heater is
installed. Default setting is '0-2' for elevations below
2,000 ft.
4. P ress the dial button to store the current altitude
range and return back to 'Installer mode'.
5. For the Step by step process to measure
CO2 values on the Mascot ST, please refer
to Step 16 thru Step 24 in Section 4.13 of
this Installation Manual.
