Make sure that the available voltage does not exceed the voltage stated in the specifications of this
manual. Do not use this fan with a speed-control device or a dimmer.
Place the fan on a flat and sturdy surface. Make sure no objects (e.g. curtains) can be sucked into
the rear of the fan.
Do not cover the fan. Do not operate the fan without the grille in place.
Do not leave the device unattended, and keep children and animals away.
Do not place the device on moving vehicles, or in places where it can easily (be) tip(ped) over.
Never insert fingers or any other object through the grille when the fan is running.
Do not use near inflammable products or in explosive atmospheres.
Indoor use only. Keep this device away from rain, moisture, splashing and dripping liquids. Never
put objects filled with liquid on top of or close to the device.
Do not use the device in the immediate surroundings of a bath, a shower, or a swimming pool.
Do not operate the device with wet hands.
Disconnect mains power when the device is not in use. Handle the power cord by the plug only.
Keep power cables away from heat, oil and sharp edges.

 Protect this device from shocks and abuse. Avoid brute force when operating the device.
 Familiarise yourself with the functions of the device before actually using it.
 All modifications of the device are forbidden for safety reasons. Damage caused by user modifications to
the device is not covered by the warranty.
 Only use the device for its intended purpose. Using the device in an unauthorised way will void the
warranty.
 Damage caused by disregard of certain guidelines in this manual is not covered by the warranty and the
dealer will not accept responsibility for any ensuing defects or problems.
 Use the original packaging to transport and store the device.
 Keep this manual for future reference.

6. Assembly
Assemble the fan as follows:
1. Push the base plate [12] against the underside of the fan. Make sure the clamps [11] click into place. Fix
with the provided screw [13].
2. Unscrew the spinner [2] from the motor shaft [7].
3. Loosen the grille mounting nut [5] from the motor housing [9].
