CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

1. Before cleaning remove the plug from the socket and let the unit cool down.
2. Remove the heating element from the base.
3. Then remove the base, the outer heat retaining cover and the grill rack and wash the unit by
hand. (Do not use any cleaning agents). Do not clean the unit with scourers to avoid scratch-
ing it.
NEVER immerse the plug, the power cable, the heating element or the thermostat in liquids.
These parts must only be wiped over with a dry cloth.
4. The grill rack can be cleaned with a soft brush.
TIP: After grilling let the grill rack cool down and then cover it with damp tea towels and let it soak
for 30 – 60 minutes.
In order to ensure that the unit works properly, if necessary, remove limescale deposits from the
water tray.

TROUBLESHOOTING

The device is not working
- Check that the mains connection cable is firmly plugged in.
- Check the positions of the control switch.
- Check the right position of the thermostatic kabinet.
