INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Installing the Heating Elements
First, unpack the package, and then install the elements according the following. Please see the
diagram "Main parts of barbecue grill" The thermostatic cabinet must be hung on the protuberant
part in the base, and the spiral filament shall be 20° bevel with the surface of the base. Push the
thermostatic cabinet onto the edge of the base, slowly put down the spiral filament, insert the
supporting wire of the filament into the hole of the base.
Place the appliance on a hard and level surface. Place the aluminium reflector into the base and
dip water in before power on. The water shall not be lower than the minimum level marked on the
unit. Cover it with aluminium reflector for easy cleaning in the future. If water evaporates fast
during baking, please add water into for avoiding over heat. Do not directly spray water onto the
thermostat, for it may possibly damage the appliance.
Cautions!
The barbecue grill shall be covered with aluminium reflector or similar materials, otherwise
it may cause the danger of overheat.
NEVER use the unit without water in the base tray. The water level must be between the MIN
& MAX marks.
Fix the grill rack in position 1,2 or 3 according to actual requirement.
Installing the Grill
Grill is suitable for household purpose. It can be connected with power supply and features easy
transportation and convenient operation. Assure correct power supply (230V). The socket plug
be designed for 2000 W.
Operating
Power on and adjust it to the expected temperature by the knob of thermostat. The user can
adjust it by turning "MIN/MAX" clockwise. The barbecue grill will automatically heat to the setting
temperature, and automatically stop when reaching the temperature. During the course of heating,
the control indicator will light. When reaching the setting temperature, the control indicator turns
off. Once the temperature of the appliance is lower than the setting temperature, the thermostat
automatically heats, and the control indicator lights, thus assuring heating under constant tempe-
rature. The power consuming level depends on the user's selection. It is suggested to adjust it to
highest in case of long baking. Please adjust the thermostat to "MIN" position for terminating or
stopping baking, then the appliance will be turned off. Please unplug the appliance from the
socket after stopping baking.
Grilling
This unit can be used to grill sausages, meat, fish etc. Materials like charcoal and wood may not
be used for this. Put the food directly onto the grill rack. Do not cover the grill rack with film (alumi-
nium foil or transparent film, for example). Do not place foods directly on the sundries plate or on
the shelves!
