    Please note that the subwoofer will take some break-in time to achieve optimum sonic performance. Quick Start Before connecting the Sub2100 to your audio components and the power source make sure that the subwoofer, the satellite speakers and your audio source are switched off and set the level controls to minimum.

    4. Subwoofer Placement It is common knowledge that low frequencies (below about 100Hz) are non-directional, meaning they can hardly be located by the listener. It is, however, a common misunder- standing that therefore the placement of a subwoofer does not matter. It does matter. Due to the fact that every room (geometry, furniture, etc.) is unique, the following de- scriptions intend to be a first introduction to the subject.

    5. Controls Controls on the rear panel (continued) Sub Level In the 0dB position the signal will be passed on 1:1 to the internal amplifier. The Input Sensitivity of the subwoofer can be adjusted from -60dB to +6dB and thus allows for a wide volume levelling range. Sub Filter The upper frequency limit of the unit is variable and can be set to any value between 50 and 150Hz.

    6. Troubleshooting All ADAM products are designed and manufactured to the highest quality standards. However, if any problems with your subwoofer occur, we recommend to proceed as follows: Problem: The LED shows normal operation (green) but there is either no or only a distorted audio signal.

Sie haben ein hochwertiges Aktivsystem erworben, das sowohl zur zuverlässigen Beurteilung von Tonaufnahmen als auch für bestmögliche Wiedergabe- qualität entworfen und gefertigt worden ist.

Quick Start zur Inbetriebnahme Allgemeine Hinweise zur Inbetriebnahme Nach dem Auspacken und der Aufstellung des Subwoofers sollte dieser ca. eine Stunde unangeschlossen ‚ruhen’, um sich der jeweiligen Raumtemperatur anpas- sen zu können. Bitte beachten Sie, dass dieser Subwoofer, abhängig von Pegel und Nutzungsfre- quenz, einige Tage benötigt, um seine optimale Klangqualität zu erreichen.

    4. Empfehlungen zur Aufstellung Bekannt ist, dass tiefe Frequenzen (unterhalb von ca. 100 Hz) vom menschlichen Ohr schwer ortbar sind. Das bedeutet aber nicht, dass die Platzierung eines Subwoofers im Raum bedeutungslos wäre. Da nahezu jeder Raum in Maßen und Möblierung von allen anderen abweicht, können die folgenden Ausführungen nur einführende Hinweise darstellen.

Bedienelemente Rückseitiges Kontrollpanel (Fortsetzung) Sub Level In der Stellung 0dB wird das Eingangssignal 1:1 an die interne Endstufe weitergeleitet, es ist im Bereich von -60dB bis +6dB regelbar. Damit kann die Lautstärke in einem sehr weiten Bereich geregelt und alle erforderlichen Pegel eingestellt werden.
